Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Gaash at https://gaash.io and related applications, websites, and services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Last updated 7 September 20261. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, using the guest editor, purchasing a pass, applying a promo code, publishing a portfolio, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
The Service is operated by the operator of Gaash (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For notices under these Terms, contact hello@gaash.io.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your place of residence, if higher) and capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account or purchase a pass. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Description of the Service
Gaash provides browser-based tools to draft resumes and cover letters, preview documents as PDF, download PDFs, optionally run a completeness and job-fit check (“Gaash Score”), use limited AI-assisted writing features when enabled and entitled, paste a job description for cover-letter or score context, and publish a personal portfolio page when entitled.
Preview and download use the same PDF rendering path in your browser. We are not an employer, recruiter, immigration adviser, career counsellor, or law firm. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, visa outcomes, employer acceptance of any template or file, ATS behaviour at any third party, or any particular Gaash Score result. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit and for how you use downloaded files.
4. Accounts and authentication
- Accounts are created through email magic-link or Google sign-in, provided via our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
- You must maintain access to the email address or Google account you use. We do not offer password-based login or in-product email change at this time.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share credentials or allow others to use your account.
- You may maintain only one account for your personal use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Automated account creation, credential stuffing, and scraping of the Service are prohibited.
5. Guest use
You may try the editor without an account at /try. Guest drafts are stored in that browser only (for example in local storage). Guests may use the free Sirius layout and download a PDF. Guests may not upload a profile photo or apply paid templates.
We are not responsible for loss of guest drafts (for example cleared browser data, private browsing, or a different device). After you sign in, the Service may import a guest draft that remains available in the same browser, subject to your free-plan or pass resume limits. If import is blocked (for example your free account already has a resume), the draft may remain in the browser until you free a slot or clear it.
6. Free plan and paid passes
A signed-in free account may save one resume on the Sirius layout and download a PDF. An active paid pass is required for additional resume slots, paid templates, Gaash Score, cover letters, AI writing runs (when AI is enabled), and editing or publishing a public portfolio. Exact limits are those displayed in the product and at checkout, and stored on the applicable plan record at the time of purchase.
We sell time-limited day and week passes priced in Indian rupees (INR) and processed by Razorpay. Passes are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically. When a pass expires, your account returns to the free plan. We do not delete your saved resumes solely because a pass ended. Sirius PDF download remains available; features that require a pass remain locked until you purchase again. If you later buy a plan with a lower resume cap, we keep your existing saves; the cap blocks new creates until you are within the included number.
Buying again starts a new period from fulfilment. Leftover time on a previous pass does not stack onto the new period. A week pass includes day-pass capabilities while it is active; we may refuse or disable redundant day-pass checkout while a week pass is active.
Payment card, net banking, UPI, and similar payment details are collected and processed by Razorpay. We store order and payment identifiers, amount, plan, status, and related fulfilment data as needed to complete the purchase. If the same Razorpay payment is captured more than once, we grant only one pass entitlement for that payment.
7. Promo codes and discounts
We may offer promo codes, campaign prices, or other discounts. Codes may be limited by campaign, pass type (day or week), maximum redemptions, expiry, channel, or one redemption per account. Eligibility and the charged amount are determined server-side at order creation. Invalid, expired, exhausted, or ineligible codes may be rejected. Sharing a code does not guarantee availability. We may create, modify, deactivate, or withdraw promos at any time.
Promo parameters may be remembered in your browser (for example session storage) to help complete checkout. Deleting your account removes that account’s redemption history; a new account may be able to use the same code again if the campaign still allows it.
8. Fees, taxes, pricing changes, and refunds
Prices are as shown at checkout for the selected plan at the time you pay. You are responsible for any applicable taxes that we are required to collect or that apply to your purchase.
We may change list prices, plan names, included entitlements, resume and AI limits, template availability, promo offers, and any other commercial terms at any time. Changes apply to future purchases. They do not shorten the stated duration of a pass already activated for a completed payment, except where required by law or where we voluntarily improve your access.
We want the product to feel fair. If you paid for a pass and are not satisfied, email hello@gaash.io from your account email with your payment reference. We will refund that purchase when you ask in good faith, subject to payment-provider rules and reasonable checks against abuse (for example repeated refunds, chargebacks after refund, or fraud). We may refuse refund requests that are abusive or fraudulent. Where a refund is issued, we may revoke the related pass entitlement. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
9. Gaash Score and AI features
Gaash Score is an automated completeness and optional job-fit check. It may omit relevant skills, misread content, or overstate quality. It is not a hiring decision and is not endorsed by any employer. Pasting a job description is optional context for that check or for cover-letter drafting; it is treated as data you provide, not as a free-form command interface.
When AI features are enabled and you have remaining AI runs on an active pass, certain actions (such as rewriting a section or generating a cover-letter draft) send the text required for that request to Google’s Gemini API. We debit one AI run for a successful rewrite or cover-letter generation. Gaash Score does not consume an AI run. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or generic. You remain solely responsible for reviewing and editing any content before use. Do not submit third-party confidential information that you are not authorised to share. We may disable AI globally or for your account for safety, cost, abuse, or operational reasons.
10. Your content
You retain ownership of the text, images, job-description text, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display User Content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service (including PDF preview and download, portfolio publishing you enable, backups, support, and security).
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law. Profile photos are stored such that the file may be reachable via a URL; see the Privacy Policy.
If you publish a portfolio, the username and content you choose to display become publicly available on the internet, including via link previews. Usernames are subject to availability and our naming rules. You are responsible for that publication and for unpublishing when you no longer want content public.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, including software, templates, branding, copy, and documentation (excluding User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that property to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted for your personal use of the product.
12. Acceptable use
- Do not access or attempt to access another user’s account, resumes, or non-public data.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests or denial-of-service activity.
- Do not use the Service to create, store, or distribute unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
- Do not reverse engineer the Service in order to attack it or to operate a competing hosted service using our infrastructure.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or affiliation in connection with the Service.
- Do not abuse AI features, promo codes, refunds, or support channels.
- Do not use the Service to send spam or to harvest personal data about others without a lawful basis.
13. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including authentication and database hosting (Supabase), payments (Razorpay), email delivery (Resend), optional AI processing (Google), and application hosting (for example Vercel). Your use of those providers may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, or policies outside our reasonable control.
14. Availability; changes to the Service, pricing, and these Terms
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, templates, limits, AI availability, portfolio behaviour, promo programmes, pricing, and plan structure. Staging and preview environments may differ from production and may contain test data.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent. We may also notify you by email or in-product notice when we consider a change material.
15. Electronic communications
You consent to receive transactional communications related to the Service by email, such as magic links, welcome messages, payment receipts, and replies to contact-form submissions. Marketing messages, if any, will follow applicable consent rules. You may contact hello@gaash.io about communication preferences.
16. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT PDF OUTPUT WILL MATCH EVERY DEVICE, BROWSER, OR PRINTER. YOU SHOULD REVIEW DOWNLOADED FILES BEFORE SENDING THEM TO THIRD PARTIES.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY (INCLUDING LOST JOB OPPORTUNITIES), WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (₹1,000) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
18. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our personnel from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, your portfolio publication, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
19. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account in Settings, subject to the confirmation step shown in the product. If you cannot access Settings, email hello@gaash.io from your account email address.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, fees already paid subject to refunds, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you, courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
21. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers, network failures, acts of government, natural disasters, or labour disputes.
22. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on that subject. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices may be sent to the email associated with your account or to hello@gaash.io. Headings are for convenience only.
